What do I get as a MSN Games discount program member?

As an MSN Games discount program member, you get a simple and easy way to purchase games at a discount price. Additionally, depending upon what membership level you select, you will get one FREE downloadable game of your choice each month. Become an MSN Games discount program member and start building a collection of your favorite games today!

What levels are available in the MSN Games discount program?

·         At $6.95 per month, you get one free game each month for a minimum of 12 months and all additional downloadable games priced $19.95 or less cost only $6.95

·         At $7.95 per month, you get one free game each month for a minimum of 6 months and all additional downloadable games priced $19.95 or less cost only $7.95.

·         At $9.95 per month, you get one free game each month for a minimum of 2 months and all additional downloadable games priced $19.95 or less cost only $9.95.

How does the MSN Games discount program work?

You will receive one free downloadable game for each month that you are an MSN Games discount program member. You’ll receive an e-mail each month to remind you to choose your free game. Your free game will remain available for two months before it expires. When your membership expires or is cancelled, any free games available (but not redeemed) will also expire after 60 days upon the date they became available for redemption.

When you decide to redeem one of your benefits, simply go to MSN Games and pick a game.  Login on to your Windows Live™ ID account, click “Get Free Game” and follow the instructions on the “Thank You” page.

As long as you’re enrolled in the MSN Games discount program, you can also purchase additional downloadable games at your discounted program price.

Credit Card information

·         MSN Games accepts Discover Network (US only), MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. (Also, required for a trial subscription.)

·         The purchase will appear as “Set Systems” on your credit card statement.

·         Games may be purchased using a credit card listed above in a variety of countries. The charge will be converted to your local currency at the exchange rate set by your credit card company.

·         You may be required to pay tax or other handling charges for a game. These charges will appear during the purchase process. European Union VAT is a general consumption tax assessed on the value added to goods and services only for EU citizens. For more information about that click: Value Added Tax (VAT).

How do I cancel?

Click here to cancel your MSN Games discount program membership. You may be prompted to log on to your Windows Live™ ID account. If your minimum membership commitment has been satisfied, you will not be charged further. Any free games remaining can be redeemed for a period of 60 days after they were first made available. If you have not satisfied your minimum membership commitment, any months remaining will be immediately charged to your credit card, and the free games your MSN Games discount program membership entitles you to can be redeemed for a period of 60 days before they expire. You will be presented with your status, and any charges that may be made to your credit card prior to canceling, on the cancellation page.

Can I cancel before my commitment is over?

Yes, you may cancel your MSN Games discount program membership at any time. However, as stated above, if you cancel before the end of your minimum membership commitment, your credit card will be charged for the remaining months of your unfulfilled obligation. You will then have 60 days to choose and redeem your free downloadable games before they expire.

Am I still a member of the MSN Games discount program after my commitment is over?

Yes, you will remain a MSN Games discount program member until you decide to cancel. After your commitment is over, there are no more minimums to satisfy. You will continue to be charged the applicable monthly membership fee and receive one free downloadable game each month, and you may continue to take advantage of your discounted membership purchase price for all other games priced $19.95 or less.

If I cancel, do I keep the games?

Yes, all downloaded games are yours to keep.

If I cancel, can I still purchase at my membership price?

No, the discounted price is a benefit for active members only. 

Can I give my subscription as a gift?

No, the subscriptions cannot be given out as a gift card.
