Windows temporarily stores (caches) Internet files on your system in the Temporary Internet Files folder. MSN Games requires that you enable certain Internet browser options to view Web pages. If these options are disabled, you may not be able to view pages or sign into your account.  To learn how to enable these options, click:

Unblock MSN Games cookies in your Internet browser settings

New versions of Internet Explorer have an option which allows you to block cookies.  If you have blocked MSN Games cookies in your Internet browser settings, you will not be able to access the purchase pages.  To unblock these cookies, follow the steps below.

Step 1

Close any Internet browser windows that are open.

Step 2

Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. In Windows XP, click Start and then Control Panel. If the Control Panel window is empty, click View all Control Panel Options in the left section of the window to show all the Control Panel icons.

Step 3

Double-click Internet or Internet Settings. In Windows XP, you may need to first click Network and Internet Connections before clicking Internet Settings or Internet Options.

Step 4

Click the Privacy tab.

Step 5

In the Web Sites section, click Edit.

If you do not see a Web Sites section, click the Security tab. In the “Select a Web content zone to specify security settings, click the Restricted Sites icon and then Sites.

Step 6

Under Managed Web sites, locate the “zone.msn.com,” “msn.com,” or “zone.com” domain. Highlight the site and click Remove.  Repeat this step for “live.com” and “passport.net.”      

Step 7

Once these sites are removed, click OK.

Step 8

Click OK to close Internet Options.

Check your Internet connection

Another common cause of this problem is connection issues between MSN Games and your computer system. Internet delays may increase the time a game takes to load, or cause MSN Games to lose its connection to your computer so a game does not load at all. (If your system disconnects from the Internet, the “loading” message may still remain on your screen.)
