Change your computer monitor settings

On MSN Games, most games are optimized to play in 800 x 600 pixels with 16-bit color. Playing the game in another screen resolution may cause video issues. To change your computer’s screen resolution, follow these steps:

Step 1

Print this page or write these steps out by hand. Then close all programs and restart your computer.

Step 2

Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. In Windows XP, just click Start and then Control Panel. If the Control Panel window is empty, click View all Control Panel Options in the left section of the window to show all the icons.

Step 3

Double-click Display. In Microsoft Windows XP, you may need to click Appearance and Themes and then Display.

Step 4

Click the Settings tab.

Step 5

In Desktop area, Display area, Screen area, or Screen resolution, click and drag the slider to 800 x 600 pixels.

Step 6

Change Color Palette, Color Resolution, or Color Quality to 16-bit color.

Step 7

Click Apply and OK. If prompted, restart your computer.

Step 8

Try the game again.
