Check the system clock |

This problem usually occurs if the date or time on your system clock has been changed. To check your computer’s system clock time and date, follow these steps. |

Step 1 |

Close any programs or windows that are open. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Step 2 |

Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control Panel. In Windows XP, click Start and then Control Panel.
If the Control Panel window is empty, click View all Control Panel Options in the left section of the window to show all the icons. |

Double-click Date/Time to open the Date and Time Properties window. |
