MSN Games account benefits

There is always a lot happening on MSN Games. Everyday players from around the world gather online to play their favorite games, win challenges, and chat with friends. You, too, can be part of this community by signing up for a free MSN Games account and MSN Games nickname.

·         Sign in and play with your MSN Games account from any computer system. (If another person is signed in on that computer, click Sign out and then Sign in to sign in with your account information.)

Get an account

You may already have an account. You can use on MSN Games if you use any of the following MSN services or another Windows Live™ ID service.

Hotmail

Encarta

MSN Messenger

MSN Music

MSN.com Internet services

MSN Newsletter subscriber

My MSN

MSN Money

Step 1

Click Sign in above Help at the top of the page.

If you use one of the services above, sign into MSN Games with your email address and password for that service.

If you do not have an account, click Register Now to sign up for your free account. (This process requires an email address. If you do not have an email address, skip to the “No email address or get a new account” section.)

Step 2

Once you sign in, click Help.

Step 3

Click My Account and then Change Nickname.

Step 4

Follow the online prompts to create a new nickname. You are now ready to play on MSN Games!

Update your MSN Games account email address

To learn how to update your e-mail address for your MSN Games account, go to http://support.live.com, sign into your MSN Games account and click Windows Live ID.

Cancel my MSN Games account

Your MSN Games account is part of the Windows Live ID. Closing this account may impact other Microsoft or MSN.com services you may use. You can simply choose not to sign in and play on MSN Games, as MSN Games periodically removes ratings or nicknames of inactive accounts.

If you do not use other Microsoft or MSN.com services, you may want to permanently close this account. To learn how to cancel your account, please go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live ID in the list of Standard Services.

No email address or get a new account

If you do not have an e-mail account or want to create a new for MSN Games, you can sign up for a free Hotmail.com and gain access to MSN Games by following the steps below.

Step 1

Go to www.hotmail.com

Step 2

Click Sign Up!. (For more information about Hotmail, click Help.)

Step 3

Once you sign up for your free Hotmail.com e-mail account you automatically have access to MSN Games, go to http://games.msn.com. Sign in to MSN Games with your new Hotmail email address and password if you are not already signed in.

Step 4

Once you sign in, click Help.

Step 5

Click My Account and then Change Nickname.

Step 6

Follow the online prompts to create a new nickname. You are now ready to play on MSN Games!
