Blackjack for pigs? No, it’s Snack Jack!
Oink, oink, oink. You need to fatten up your pigs, farmer, and one way you can do that is by playing Snack Jack, a porcine variation of Blackjack. Earn snacks for your pigs by making a total of 21 with the cards dealt to you and get enough snacks to reach the next level. Impress the judges and earn a ribbon for your prize porker.
1. Feed your pig!
You must earn a certain number of snacks for your pig in order to move to the next level. There are four ways to earn snacks. The most common way to earn a snack is to make a “21” with the four cards you are dealt face up, forming four different hands. You can also see the next card in the deck, face up. Choose the Hit button under each hand to move that next card in the deck to one of your hands. If the cards add up to 21, your pig gets a snack.
2. More than one way
There are other ways to earn snacks. If the four cards in your four hands form a straight (such as 6, 7, 8, 9 or A, 2, 3, 4), you’ll earn a snack. If you put five cards in a single hand and still haven’t reached 21, you’ll earn a snack. When the deck is empty or time runs out, you can also earn snacks in the Play the Dealer bonus game. The dealer gets two cards. For each of your hands equal to or greater than the dealer’s hand, you’ll earn a snack (and bonus snacks if all four of your hands score).
3. Watch the time
Think fast! You have a limited time to earn snacks. Set up your hands so that they have a good scoring chance. Remember too that if you have a single card in one of your hands, you can move it (click and drag) to one of your other hands (which might make a 21 or set it up for one). Watch the time, and make sure to get high scoring hands for the Play the Dealer round as you can score lots of snacks in the Dealer bonus round.
