| · If you have an “S,” check to see if you can add it to a word you have already submitted. Also consider adding various prefixes and suffixes to a submitted word. | |
| · If you’re stuck, make sure to use the SHUFFLE button. Looking at the letters in a different order might lead to new words. | |
| · Look at the words that you have already submitted. You can often swap out one letter to make a new word. For example, if you have submitted the word “Mime,” you can replace the first “M” with a “T” or “L” to create more words. | |
| · If you’re really stuck, try just clicking letters. This works especially well for smaller words. Remember that you are NOT penalized for submitting an incorrect word. | |
| · Proper nouns are not considered valid words. | |
| · You can return a letter from the word staging area back to the rack by clicking that letter. | |
| · Keep an eye on the timer. When the time remaining reaches one minute, the display turns red. When it reaches 10 seconds, it begins to flash until the end of the round. | |
| · "Hard" difficulty may be the most challenging, but it will also award you the most points for each milestone you achieve during a round. | |
