| In 1995, Ami Onuki and Yumi Yoshimura met on the audition trail in Tokyo. Their debut single "Asia No Junshin" sold over a million copies. They were soon packing concerts, hosting a variety show ("Pa-Pa-Pa-Pa-Puffy"), and inspiring fashion with their Puffy style. Puffy Ami Yumi's fame is spreading through the U.S. with critical acclaim, packed tours and their cartoon "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi."
