Deal out some classic Klondike!
Take a break and play the classic solitaire game that we all grew up with! There’s nothing better than whiling away a few minutes or a few hours with a deck of 52 cards – and it’s even better when you don’t have to shuffle or clean up the mess!

Build up four foundation piles by suit, starting with the Ace and working sequentially up to the King. Keep in mind that this version is timed – when time runs out, the game is over.

Tableau piles descend in alternating colors. They can be moved to add to existing tableau piles, and when a blank space is created on the board, new ones can be created with the placement of a King.

The remainder cards are turned three at a time in order to add to either the foundation or the tableau piles. You can cycle through the remainder cards as many times as you need to until the game is over or time runs out.

  Tips and Strategies

·          If possible, always move an Ace or a Deuce to a foundation pile.

·          When starting a new game, it’s a good idea to turn over your first card in the remainder pile before you make any other moves. This gives you more information before you start rearranging the cards on the table – and may provide you with better choices than you would otherwise have.

·          If you have a choice, always go for the one that exposes the most hidden cards.

·          Generally speaking, there’s no advantage to moving Kings up to the foundation piles until the end of the game – and it can work against you if there are queens waiting to be played.

·          If a move is not immediately important, it may be worthwhile to delay making it. This will allow you to keep your options open for a more advantageous move in subsequent turns.
