  Xbox Live Arcade Sweepstakes Rules

1. ELIGIBILITY
No purchase necessary. If you are 18 years or older and are a legal resident of any of the 50 United States including District of Columbia, and have access to a PC with Internet access, you are eligible to compete for prizes. If you are an employee or an immediate family member of an employee of Microsoft Corporation (defined here as parents, siblings, spouse, or household members), their subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, or you are in some way working on this program or providing services to Microsoft in connection with this Sweepstakes, you are not eligible to enter. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

The Sweepstakes begins on November 18th at 12:01 p.m. (PT) and ends on Jan 3, 2006, at 11:59 a.m. (PT) (the “Entry Period”). 

2. HOW TO ENTER
To be entered into the Sweepstakes make sure you are signed in to your Microsoft Passport Account and fill out the entry form located at http://zone.msn.com/en/general/article/genxboxlivearcade.htm.

The winner will be notified via the email that they entered in the sweepstakes entry form.  Limit 1 entry per person.

Microsoft is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections, miscommunications, failed phone or computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions or technical failures, garbled transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, technical or electronic. No copies, facsimiles or mechanical reproductions will be accepted. All entries become the property of Microsoft Corporation and will not be returned.

3. PRIZE PERIODS AND PRIZES
Approximately 7 days following the last day of the entry period, the winners will be chosen at random from among all eligible entries received during the prize period to win the following prizes:

**Requires Xbox 360 ™, Xbox Live and 30 MB free space on a storage device such as an Xbox 360 hard drive or Xbox 360 memory Unit.

If a winner cannot accept a prize in its entirety, then the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Any and all guarantees and warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim.

Winner will be notified by e-mail within fourteen (14) days of the drawing. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. No substitution, transfer, or assignment of prizes permitted, except that Microsoft reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the prize is unavailable.  Taxes on the prizes are solely the responsibility of the winners.

4. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of Microsoft, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All prize claims are subject to verification. Non-compliance or, if a selected potential winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to return the completed and executed Affidavits and Releases, as required, or if the prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Microsoft to use winner's name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Microsoft, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or any prize won.

5. INTERNET
If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Microsoft which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Microsoft reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. All prizes will then be awarded, in a random drawing from all entries received prior to such a suspension. Microsoft assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Microsoft is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure or any e-mail or entry to be received by Microsoft on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A SWEEPSTAKES ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH SWEEPSTAKES ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute, entries made by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
